Symantec SUES Microsoft!!!!

symantec has sued microsoft for wrongfully using their Veritas technology in Windows Vista.
This technology is basically a storage technology and microsoft had purchased its copyrights from symantec in August 1996 to use this technology in win nt product.
Symantec purchased Veritas in a $10.2 billion acquisition that closed last year.
Now symantec says that M$ has misappropriated their technology.
Now M$ is in kinda trouble. If they lose this case, they'll have to find an alternative which means further delay in Vista's release. M$ won't be glad about that and thats for sure.

The moral of the story is think before u steal something.("Nakal ke liye bhi akal ki zaroorat hoti hai")
