Hey all……… i know i’m updatig my blog after such a long time but……… ummmmm i couldn’t help it..

thanks to airtel live that i’m back online and i’m writing this post………… so many things hav happened to me in these 3-4 months……… ummmm i’ve completed one whole semester…. and i hav so much to say!!!!

lets start with the college………. i’ve taken admission in CMRIT, Bangalore…………. its a nice coll………. i sorta like it……..

by the way hostel food sucks……… i’m missing my MOM!!!

the princi is an a**hole and i hate him…… hez so damn strict……. anyways all princis are like that only so lets forget it…….

Bangalore’s weather is like awesome and i like this place(though its very expensive but still i like it)…….umm i hav made many new friends………. harshit my roomie and javeed my neighbour……… they are kinda close to me…….. both of them rock!!! Though I’m missing my old freinds alot!!!

i hate this but i hav to write something about studies…… umm theory exms are over and as usual i studied only on last nights……….. they were like one night strands……….. i don’t remember anything now………i hope the results are not as bad as the exms…………pray for me yaar!!!!! umm i hav 2 pracs left and after that it’ll be ‘HOME SWEET HOME’. And ya 1st sem was kinda easy…. study on the last night and expect 70% marks……… isn’t that fun??

Coll guys hav given us laptops and as ideal students we use it only for playing games,watching movies and listening songs…. i played age of empires for the first time and i’m like addicted to it…….. its an awesome game!!!

wat else, i’ve changed alot……… i’ve started wearing formals and i hav become toooo economical(a miser as u may say it) but u realise the value of money only when u start living alone……….

thats a brief review of the last three months…….. i’ll try and update my blog regularly now onwards…….

Class reunion

Atul, ashish and jaya organised a class reunion this sunday at the City Square mall,Rajouri garden. These reunions are the ultimate way of meeting ur old buddies and it turned out to be much better than wat i had anticipated.

It was only cuz of jaya and atul that so many ppl attended the reunion. the list includes……..

Nidhi,jaya,deepika,rupali,tarika,atul,ankur,shobhit,

arihant,manish,yash,anuj,anshu,vicky,rishi,girish,ashish and me.

The only thing i didn’t like was that shwetu didn’t come(i think it was due some sort of misunderstanding)…….otherwise it was a very nice day.

We(manish n me) reached the mall at about 12:15 p.m.(about an hour late from the scheduled time) and saw every1 sitting at the table…… We excahnged greetings and it felt soooo good to see my classmates after such a long time……… all of us had a coke(deepika’s treat)…. then we chatted for a while and discussed life in general…….. Anuj,girish and anshu were behaving like animals and the security gaurd warned them twice…….The management was kinda getting irritated cuz of them so we had to leave tht place…… We went to Pind Ballucha for lunch…… the ambience of that restaurant was awesome……the food was not bad either…… I talked to arihant about his future plans and he told me that he’ll be goin to pune for his engg…….. We divided the bill which came out to be Rs 75 per head(which was quite reasonable). After that we went to giani’s for desserts…….

After having ice-creams anuj’s notorious group left and we felt releaved……. after that we went to TDI mall….thereafter we went to Mc-D’s and chatted for another hour or so(and didn’t order anything except water which was for FREE!!!)…….. It was about 6 p.m. n gals were getting late so we left the place….. After that i went to vikas puri with atul n manish and purchased a pirated copy of One Night at Call Center by Chetan Bhagat…….. Finished it 2 hours ago…..i’ll right about it in another post………

So all-together it was a great day n i’m lookin forward to another such re-union asap………….

Yesterday i saw krrish with shwetu,aditya,vinayak,ankur(vinayak’s bro)and amit.

We entered the audi well in time and for a change we didn’t miss anything except the ads.

I was expecting alot from the movie(as the reviews were quite good) and guess wat……. the movie was actually good…. it was really awesome……

Hritik has done really well(though that mask was looking quite stupid) but Priyanaka chopra is quite diasappointing(i didn’t expect that kinda performance from her)…. anyways she is too sexy so she was quite bearable. Direction as well as the story line was quite good……. infact its the first sequel that i liked more than the orignal movie…. At no point of time(except for the songs) did i feel that the movie was goin offtrack…… a great work………. hats off to their unit……

Ummm…. I’d rate the movie 7.5/10. Go watch it!!!!

I saw the movie 2 days back with gagan(my cousin) and reema(a friend).

As usual we were late(about 15 mins).We got seated and i was expecting alot from the movie…… since the reviews were quite good…… As the movie progressed i realised that i was wrong…..i think the first part of chup chupke was more hilarious………..

Anyways it felt as if they were trying to force humour on us…. it was really teriible………. storyline was kinda weird…… and as a typical hindi movie…….. both the songs were there just for the sake of sellin music cassettes…….Paresh rawal was good.. thats it…….. I'd rate the movie 5.5/10.

SEE IT AT UR OWN RISK!!!!!!!!!

Day b4 yesterday i went for this movie with my school
friends(shwetu,vinayak,nidhi,shilpi,swachchtoa and my sis sanjugta). I met them after such a long time and it felt soooo good…..meeting old friend after a long time……. It was awesome.

THE MOVIE

The first part of the movie was kinda ok…. it was quite humourous and i enjoyed it…. Paresh Rawal was good but as soon as the 2nd part started, i felt like killing myself……. i felt as if i was watching SAAS BHI KABHI BAHU THI…… so much melodrama…… Oh GOD!!!! how could they do that to us…….. We were all waiting for THE END of the movie and each n every second was like a decade for us…… FInally the movie ended and we left the theatre.
I'd rate the movie 1.5/5.
If u have to go for the movie(under drastic conditions ofcourse) just leave the theatre after interval or go to the adjacent AUDI after the first part of the movie…. I assure u that u won't regret….

We came out of Janak Palace and as usual Mc D's was soooooo full….. After sometime Aditya(another frnd of mine) also arrived…… he had some important work so he didn't come for the movie(LUCKY HIM). We had our lunch, played ice hockey and then chatted for 3-4 hrs….. before we left. It was such an awesome day…. I enjoyed it thouroughly(Excluding the 2nd part of the movie).

hi all. yesterday i saw MI-3 with shwetanshu(for those of u who don't know – he's a good friend of mine).It was a good movie. I'd rate it 7/10. Ummm as usual the sound effects were amazing…….. the story line was ok. the main thing is RABBIT FOOT and the whole story revolves around that. Now u go and find wats that rabbit foot. Enjoy the movie and have fun.
now something even more interesting than this. We were on our way back home. i was riding the bike and shwetu was sitting behind me. there was a slope kinda thing and we were travelling at about 70 kmph…. suddenly i saw a car coming from the other side….. shwetu to nearly jumped out of the bike…. i somehow managed to conrol the whole thing and we were out of it without a scratch but it was a scary experience.
Note: Drive properly….. Don't ignore the speedo-meter.

Symantec SUES Microsoft!!!!

symantec has sued microsoft for wrongfully using their Veritas technology in Windows Vista.
This technology is basically a storage technology and microsoft had purchased its copyrights from symantec in August 1996 to use this technology in win nt product.
Symantec purchased Veritas in a $10.2 billion acquisition that closed last year.
Now symantec says that M$ has misappropriated their technology.
Now M$ is in kinda trouble. If they lose this case, they'll have to find an alternative which means further delay in Vista's release. M$ won't be glad about that and thats for sure.

The moral of the story is think before u steal something.("Nakal ke liye bhi akal ki zaroorat hoti hai")

My exam

hey all……..
as u all know i had my jamia exam today..
there were 170 questions in all. They didn't mention anything about the marking scheme(god knows whether it had negative marking or not)….On the cover page there was an instruction that all the questions are compulsory…. However, i had already decided that i'll attempt all the questions no matter wat the marking scheme is n i did the same. i observed that about 70% students in my room had not attempted 100%. Bhagwan kare negative marking na ho…. there was another flaw in the exam. I came th' a question which had 2 identical options……. exactly the same. these Jamia guys!!!!! huh!!!!1

Thats all about the exam. It was the last one so now i'm freeeeeee. i'm thinkin about watchin a movie.. I have ring 2 on a DVD and i've not seen it yet. I know its kinda scary…. bt i'll manage. And guess wat!!! i have my guitar class today. That teacher is surealy gonna ask me to play the chords he taught me in the last class but i'm sure its gonna be a tough job for me……. GOD HELP ME!!!!!

my 1st post

hey everyone.This is my 1st entry.

first of all a brief intro about me.
i'm SATBIR MINHAS and this will be my first year in b.tech.Passed grade XII from Cambridge Foundation School, rajouri garden.
i like surfing the net,playing comp games,snooker,pool,listening to music,playing my guitar,etc etc.
and i'm a laaaazzzzzyyy person……..
i started this blog just for fun and it'll mainly contain stuff about my routine life with a pinch of tech news ……..

ok then…… let's get going
have an exam tomorrow…… but doesn't really matter
I've started my guitar classes again…… hope i'll be able to play the chords soon.
and let me tell u one thing…. these gyms are really cool…… they are like heaven…. i've joined one lately….. n the view…. the ambience…. its really soothing….. hope u got wat i said……

Hmmmmm.. i'll be changing my coll this year……. so i'll have to move outta delhi…… aaaahhhhhhhhhh….. delhi is so good……but i'm here for short time.

now something on sports……
the first test match b/w INDIA n WI was inconclusive
i must say WI played well…. i mean they held the ground till the last ball of the day
And that Dhoni controversy was really interesting
